Meet the Team

  • Taya Rauch

    Owner

Driven by a lifelong passion for health and performance, Taya founded Born Driven Training in 2020 to create a space where individuals feel empowered, supported, and inspired in their fitness journeys. As a certified Kinesiologist, Soft Tissue Release Therapist, and NASM Certified Personal Trainer, she combines a deep understanding of movement with practical coaching experience to help clients build strength that lasts.

Taya grew up playing competitive sports, where discipline and performance were a natural part of her life. However, when university began and she was balancing full-time work, fitness temporarily took a back seat. Her passion was reignited while coaching high school girls’ basketball. Watching young athletes gradually fall in love with training — and experience the confidence that comes with feeling strong — reminded her of what sport once gave her. That experience ultimately led her to leave clinic work, pursue personal training full time, and eventually establish her own practice.

Today, training is not a chore — it is a way of life. Her work never feels routine because she thrives on building relationships, creating energy in the room, and making fitness both purposeful and enjoyable. Whether coaching one-on-one or leading small groups, Taya prioritizes intelligent programming, proper movement mechanics, and an environment that feels both high-level and welcoming.

Beyond the studio, she lives what she teaches. Taya trains her Labrador, Mia, in Rally Obedience and Competitive Obedience, embracing the discipline and consistency required in both sport and life. She also enjoys gardening, fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors with her husband Jeff, their two Labrador Retrievers Fynn and Mia, their cats Bean and Shwartz, and their goats. Her lifestyle reflects her belief in holistic living, resilience, and continual growth.

Taya’s mission extends beyond workouts — she is committed to helping clients build strength, confidence, and sustainable habits that support a full and capable life.

    Her personal and professional motto:

“Have passion and be driven. Be relentless in exceeding your goals.”

  • Jessica Ratzlaff

    NASM Certified Personal Trainer

Jessica grew up on a beef cattle farm, where early mornings, 4-H, and daily chores instilled a strong work ethic long before she ever stepped into a gym. Sport was equally central to her life — she played soccer, basketball, baseball, volleyball, and wrestling, later placing second in the province in butterfly at competitive swimming. Athletics shaped her discipline, competitiveness, and unwavering belief that people are capable of more than they think.

She went on to lifeguard and teach swimming to all ages, where she discovered a passion for coaching and helping others build confidence through movement.

After high school, fitness evolved into something far more personal.

Through significant family trauma, training became her anchor. It provided structure when life felt heavy, clarity when her mind felt overwhelmed, and strength — both physical and mental. It reinforced a principle she now lives and coaches by: discipline carries you when motivation fades.

After returning to soccer as an adult, Jessica broke her ankle — an experience that deepened her understanding of injury, recovery, and intelligent strength training. Rehabilitation sharpened her eye for movement and strengthened her ability to help others rebuild safely and effectively.

Today, she is a proud mother of two and married to her high school sweetheart. Her life is full, and fitness enables her to move through it strong, grounded, and capable.

Jessica’s mission extends beyond physical transformation. She is committed to building resilient, capable individuals who not only gain strength but move better — correcting imbalances, restoring proper mechanics, and developing bodies that feel strong, supported, and confident for years to come.

    Because real strength changes everything.
